The pantry staple pasta I make more times that I can count!

Hello Reader,

Every now and then there is a recipe that comes into my life that finds it's place into my weekly cooking rotation. This anchovy butter pasta is one of them.

It relies on pantry staple items to make, uses 4 main ingredients (with a few extra for garnish) and is loved by everyone in my family! Even my anchovy hating fiance loves this one because the anchovies melt into the butter bringing a rich and salty umami flavour to the sauce.

While I just love to serve this one on it's own, it can also act as a great base for those wanting a little extra protein. Top it with some prawns, crispy crumbed chicken or even swap out the pasta for a tin of beans!

If you make this one this week, let me know what you think!

xoxo Daen

I'm currently recipe testing, writing family stories and bringing my second cookbook to life.

In this week’s Cookbook Club, I’ll be sharing a little more about the book’s title and a name I think I may have finally settled on. It feels incredibly special and very true to the stories and recipes I’m sharing in this book.

I can’t wait to tell you more.

Buy me a bottle of olive oil! 🫒

I keep all my recipes free so everyone can cook along. If you’d like to support my work, leaving a tip helps me keep creating and sharing with you 💛

Hello Reader, There are very few things in life that can't be improved with a little of my homemade garlic butter. And when I say a little, I obviously mean a lot! These garlic butter steak bites are one of those recipes that feel incredibly indulgent but take almost no time or effort to make. We're talking beautifully golden, caramelised pieces of steak tossed through a rich garlic butter sauce with sweet red onion, a splash of Worcestershire sauce and plenty of fresh parsley. And the best...

Hi Reader, There are some evenings when the last thing I feel like doing is spending an hour in the kitchen. And while I absolutely love cooking, I also love a recipe that requires very little time or effort but still delivers on flavour. I've noticed just how much you all love my quick and easy dinners, so I thought I'd do something a little different this week and share five of my favourites in one email. These are the recipes I turn to when time is not on my side, but I still want...

Hello Reader, I think we can all agree that the best kind of dinner is one that requires very little washing up afterwards. And if it involves pasta, cream, lots of parmesan cheese and juicy chicken breast, even better! My latest recipe is this One Pan Creamy Chicken Alfredo, and I have a feeling it's going to become a regular in your dinner rotation. It's not your traditional Alfredo. The chicken is generously coated in spices and seared until beautifully golden, while the pasta cooks...
